If your dog potty box gets a ton of direct sunlight you should give it a light spray each day. Only water the grass if it is in a location like a roof top deck that gets direct sunlight the majority of the day.
In 95% of cases you do not need to water the grass.
Don’t overwater or you will get a “swampy” situation.
